Description:Christian Care Communities is Kentucky’s largest and most diverse not-for-profit social service organization.

Our Program Support Center located in Middletown, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Human Resources Manager. This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.

Job profile:
Consults with management regarding employee relations concerns and issues, such as management and employee rights, responsibilities, and best practices designed to reduce conflict and litigation.

Consults with management on performance management issues, such as performance evaluations, corrective or improvement action plans, and disciplinary actions; coordinates review process of proposed disciplinary actions; addresses the importance of documenting performance reviews and tracks completion by supervisors to report non-compliance for the Program Support Center.

Formulates and recommends changes to company policies and procedures in accordance with organizational culture and changes in current laws and regulations.

Directs and oversees recruitment, selection, retention, termination and other employment activities according to company policies as well as federal, state, and local regulations.

Confers with administrators, managers and instructors to determine training needs; researches, plans, organizes, training programs and seminars; reviews, evaluates, and modifies existing and proposed programs; recommends appropriate changes; and prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations when necessary.

Assists the maintenance of accurate employee information of personnel records and computer files such as personal data, compensation, benefits, attendance, performance, reviews or evaluations, and termination dates and reasons.

Prepares Human Resources statistical reports as requested.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from a four-year College or university:five years of professional human resources experience including two years in training and development.

Ability to effectively communicate with managers, employees, professional human resources and or training consultants; creative ability, writing proficiency, visual graphics, design ability; good organizer, meticulous, and good public speaker at ease moderating large groups.
